Tobi,
Do you do valve adjustments and if so, what do you charge? I've only had the car for a couple of months and don't know when it was last done other than at the 15k service. Doesn't look like its been done at any of the 30,60,90k services. It doesn't chatter too loud, but what is the normal interval for valve adjustments?

Yes, I do them. For an integra I charge $75. WIth 108k miles has the timing belt been done?

How often do the valves usually need to be adjusted?

On your motor the manual states every 15k miles in harsh environments or driving conditions.

Here's a theory question: what exactly is being compensated for by adjusting valves? Is there actual physical wear that's causing valves to need the readjustment?

yes. Wear on the valve seats, wear on the cam lobes and rockers.

In addition to the valve adjustment, I need a new cam plug. If I supply the plug will it cost much more than $75? As soon as can find a day to make the trip out there, I'll PM you. You can do Fridays right?

I can install the cam plug for an extra $10. Fridays are good.
