I believe the IACV and another sensor on the IM share the same plug. Make sure you dont have them crossed.

Also make sure you don't have any vacuum leaks. I used to get code 14's and a crazy surging idle when I had a leak at the throttle body gasket. I think what happened is that the MAP sensor saw weird pressure and the ECU couldn't get it under control by using the IACV, so it concluded that the IACV must be bad and threw a code 14.

The intake air temp sensor and IACV share the same connector on a GSR. If you have the right connection you may have a vacuum leak also.

A vacuum leak is when something on the intake manifold (after the throttle-body plate) is not sealing completely, so extra air gets sucked in when you're not on the throttle.

o0o0 ok ...well b4 my idiot friend had messed with that screw thingy on the throttle, i think that would cuase all of this to happen...could it?

i had this problem just last week where my car idle was fluctuating. this guy told me to go buy carb cleaner and spray it to where your vacuum hose connect. if it get sucked in and the engine runs a little rough, then you have a leak at that place. just check the hose or replace it.
