It depends. You need to be a little more specific on stuff like this. There are about 1000 answers I could give you here.

Because he took the time to ask a question I am going to take the time to give him a real answer he can use. Not a generalized internet answer that would cover all of his bases. His question wasnt multiple choice. Since the motor is a hybrid it stands a chance that there has been work done to it. If this work that has been done was meant for NA application then no, it would not be good for boost. You see what Im getting at? Leave your smart ass remarks at the door to my forum please.

it's not put together yet my plan was to block guard it,arp studs and a good gasket.
b16 head gsr stock block. is it worth it and any other things you would suggest
to do for that setup. i would like to be able to push ten pounds out of it for now.

The studs and gasket wont be needed if you still are using the stock pistons and rods.
10-12 psi is all the stock bottom will take. If you put pistons, rods in the mix it should be good for 15-18 psi on a block gaurd and studs. Stock Honda gasket or Cometic is all I reccomend but OEm is the best.

I agree on the gasket. I ran 13 psi making 280 whp on my OEM gasket. I only went to Cometic because I bored out to 84mm.

Quite honestly, I ran ARP head studs and I now run AEBS head studs. I like the AEBS design MUCH better than the ARP studs and I've seen AEBS studs hold plenty of power. I make ~400 whp on 20 psi on my AEBS studs and they haven't loosened at all. The AEBS studs have both a nipple at the base so that the threads don't bottom out in the block as well as an allen head recess in the head so you can tighten then down effectively without having to use the 'double nut' method. I'm much happier with my AEBS studs. ;)

WHAT KIND OF PISTONS AND RODS DO YOU SUGGEST AND HOW MUCH DO YOU
THINK I WOULD BE LOOKING AT FOR ALL INSTALLED, INCLUDING THOSES STUDS
YOU RECCOMEND. CAN YOU DO IT?

Who are you talking to?

You need to decide what kind of power you want to make in the long run as well as how much boost you want to run. What kind of compression do you want to have? What are your plans for your fuel system? Engine management?

You need to plan out what you want to do in the long run and then it would be easier to tell you what products would work for you. :)

Feel free to PM me. :)
