So, I'm thinking about trading in my 97' Accord SE for something a bit newer, and figure I should replace/repaint the bumper cover as it has a big spot of paint missing where someone bumped into me so I get a decent trade-in value.

Anyone know the aproximate cost for someone to spray it for me if I took it off and took it to them? Maybe there is a salvage yard around here somewhere that might have the correct color bumper cover to fit my car?

I found one on eBay that I think will work, but I'm starting to think I've found a car that I'd like to start haggling for by the end of this oncoming week if I can...

Thanks,

- Brandon

A used one will cost between $100 and $200 depending on condition. If you have a common paint color it wont be a problem to find at Honnda stuff or Central Foreign used parts. Gettng it repainted will be up to the painter or body shop on how hard it will be to fix whatever damage or tear down the old paint. Last bumper I had redone cost me $250 but that was through a friend so Im guessing it would be closer to $3-400 to get done.

Cool, thanks for the tip! Yeah, I wasn't sure what yards to check for the bumper.. it's silver which seems to be one of the most common colors.
