nope. The money you save on the LSD you end up paying for on the install and the broken spider gears later. I alos have had problems with the axles hanging up in the tranny with the phantom grip. Not worth the hassles IMHO.

Depends on the power. The OEM LSD's for the Teg will only hold about 250 whp from what I've heard. That's only hearsay though. Tobi, any input on that?

HP isn't what breaks parts, torque is. I don't know what torque a Honda LSD is good for, but I'd sing for a Quaife. You get what you pay for.

That's what we would call bullshit made up by some ricer... A good example is that Mark's turbo Type-R is 423whp and 3-something torque, and the transmission is stock as far as I know. I don't recall him complaining about LSD problems, just that it has massive wheelhop (an indication that the LSD is working, otherwise it would be "one wheel peel").

I have no complaints about the Quaife. It's such a PITA to replace the LSD I figured I'd spend a few hundred extra and try to make sure I only had to do it once.

Well, good to know. I'd always turned away OEM LSDs for that reason. I'm more interested in a Quaife anyway. :D
Thanks for the correction. :)

That trans is bone stock ITR. My trans is bone stock Si with CTR LSD and it holds up fine to 1.9 60 foots and full boost launches. Third gear is owned however.
