I was trying to find out how much it would cost to get my engine installed and tuned. I am wanting to go boost by the end of the winter so is there anything I should do while the engine is out? If not. I have the stock cx motor in it. Would you want it to make the job cheaper or should I pull it before I give the car to you? Its a GSR OBD2 going into a 94 hatch.. I havent purchased the engine yet but will be doing so any day now. Should I go with a OBD1? I was only looking at the OBD2 because I am scared to pick up a 95 or so motor that probably has 200K miles on it so I was trying to find a 99 or so motor. Any info you can give would be helpful!

OBD-1 would be better and cheaper. I would have to build you an entire engine harness if you went OBD-II. The labor would be slightly cheaper if you pulled the old motor but not by much. That part only takes about an hour.

OBD-I motor installation is going to be $500
OBD-II motor installed is about $650 plus any extra materials needed.
$55 off if you pull the old motor.

Do you know a good reliable place to get a GSR motor with LSD tranny?

GSRs never came with LSDs so you may have trouble finding that combo. If you get a regular GSR swap I can install an LSD before the motor goes in.

Try www.hmotorsonline.com for your engine though. Good guys and good engines

Hmotors will send you everything you need aside from the LSD. That is why I reccomended them. You will not have to change the hubs. They are all the same. If you ever want to go with bugger brakes though I reccomend new knuckle and hub assemblies from a GSR.
