Hey Tobi, its Steve (fidanza flywheel and Exedy clutch) I adjusted my ride height like you had suggested and have had no rubbing and and everything is equal again. Problem is I went to El Paso, Texas for a week. (roughly a 1400 mile trip) I was checking all my tires along the way there and back but when I got back here and drove to school one morning my steering wheel started shaking. I thought I had just sprung a leak and the tire up front passenger had just lost some pressure. Then I saw the badly worn inner and outer tread, but only on one tire. I checked the pressure and it was fine (40 psi) and so I put it on the rear since it had worn bald on those points. I no longer have any shaking so I don't believe its worn wheel bearings or a broken ball joint I would still feel vibration, what else could it be? I took pics here:

Did you get your toe aligned after changing the ride height?

I am pretty sure toe causes damage to only one side or the other of tire.
Wear like that on only one tire is almost always caused by underinflation. If both sides of the tire are equally damaged (you cant quite tell from the angle of the pics) I think it has to be underinflation.
But you said you checked tire pressure so I dont know.

The center doesn't exactly have a lot of tread left, so I doubt it's entirely due to underinflation. And toe can fuck up the entire surface if it's off by enough... I've seen it happen.

toe in will fuck up both of your tires, even if its off a little bit. Trust me, i know.

air pressure
Underinflation usually only just wears out the outside of the tire Alex. Where as over inflation wears out the center.

Isnt that the problem?
Only the outside is worn out on one tire?

ryanman....yes but if you read the initial post the pressure was right where it was supposed to be, not underinflated, I wouldn't have to ask what it was if it was underinflated now would I? No flaming intended.

I wonder if the toe or caster may be off causing you to drag the wheel sideways down the road??????? Only thing I can think of if it's not air pressure related.

well that still looks like underinflation or alot of hard cornering. It it was toe the tire would be featherd. His wear is mostally even and if u ever had your tire preasure to low in a previous point in the tires life once a wear pattern is started in a tire it usually continues..It still wound hurt ot have a good aligment done to see if there is anything that can be done. make sure you let them know which tires where were on the car so they can get a visual of what the car will need.

Inflation wear wont continue after the inflation problem has started.
What were the alignment specs? Do you have a printout? It looks as though you may have a slight camber and toe problem but withuot a spec sheet I cant tell you anything from a picture. Is your alignment shop a good one?
