f'n bushings. HELP!!!

I was, am changing the springs/struts on my 2000 Integra GSR. Got three done. The driver side rear lower strut bolt had welded itself to the bushing on the lower arm. Had to destroy the bushing to get the old strut off.

Anyone have a replacement bushing or rear left lower arm? Tomorrow I'm gonna try to find a junk yard that's open on Sunday. Anyone know of one in Colorado Springs that's open on Sunday?

If not, I'm gonna have to bite the bullit, and take the lower arm to a shop and get a new bushing/arm.

any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

I only know of like 2 junkyards with imports here period. I don't even think there would be many shops open.

A new bushing will be hard to find in stock. I would try a junkyard on Monday for a used arm and then go new if you cant find one.

i doubt it will help you in any way, but i'll be changing bushings on my 94 accord this coming labor day weekend. I can let you know if i will manage to remove the old ones and they will remain in good shape after that. in which case, and if they fit your car, i can of course give them to you, if it can save you temporarily.

also, nopionline.com has control arm bushing kits (at least for accord). i think it would be a good idea to replace bushings on both sides.

Well, found a shop yesterday that carried the bushing and bolt. Took them home and can't get the bushing in the arm. So I admit defeat. I'm taking the arm/bushing into Acura and ask them to put the bushing in. I don't have the tools to put the thing in.
