WTB computer parts

I need anything, it can be old. I'm building a comp because my mom needs one, but she's only going to be using Microsoft Word and Quicken. So I don't need any great parts.


I need some parts also for my self, I need more ram and a faster processor (has to be greater then an AMD 1.3 ghz, can't remember the model #).

i have three towers and power supplies, they have motherboards and cd drives too but they didnt work when i put them together and tried to get them running, not sure what the problem was with them. If you are interested let me know.

I believe it's 1.8 ghz, and depending on the mboard & cooling, can be OC'ed nicely. I think there's a CPU fan with it as well, but I gotta find it.

Ok - I found them. You'll need some thermal grease to put between the CPU & cooler, as well as a mboard which accepts athlon socket A chips. I've had very good luck with MSI boards - all my boxes at home are MSI & athlons. Both the cpu cooler & processor will need to have the old grease cleaned off prior to install & re-greasing.

I had a customer come to my store with his HOT little wife g/f whatever..that really needed one of those the other day. I was just messing with him and told him "I have one at home" he offered to follow me home, and pay me everything he had in his wallet for it..($60ish)..I was like DAMN! Ah well..weird thing was, after I told him I was just messing around, I went back in the store and we had one sitting in the server room. :)
