How do I calculate tax, title and plates?

I'm sure this is a totally dumb question.

I'm trying to figure out how much car I can afford and how much my monthly loan payment will be. How do I calculate the stuff like tax and plates? Any thing else I'm forgetting? TIA

My plates cost me like 30 bucks.

for plates I believe it's just like normal tax. So whatever the price of the car was* 6.1% for the state. And then however much it is for federal or whatever.
