It's just a little odd, can't really compare it to anything. I think that's why it so weird to me.

We went to this place called SushiZen in San Jose. Pretty pricey but they are one of the top rated sushi places in San Jose.
I usually stay away from salmon roe. I can eat just about anything else. I'm still not sure about sea urchin (uni).
I was raised on sushi, I don't see how anyone can go through life without it.

RIght on! I took a pal out for sushi & saki last monday night - he needed to blow off some steam as he's going through a seperation/divorice thing. We also spent around $130 at Sushi Den.
Which, btw, has the absolute best sushi in Denver.

The place that used to be the Chinese restaurant? I'm scared to try that place... How was the product?
If not that place, was it Mt Fuji? We tried eating there, and it was - well - seriously bad...

I think the sushi at Sushi Urakoura in Golden is much better than Sushi Den. You should try it out sometime. It's right by my house, as if you knew where that was. :)

Making sushi is far more costly than FRYING (fry. v. fried, (frd) fry·ing, fries
To cook over direct heat in hot oil or fat.) a chicken.

Sushi chefs are much harder to come by, thus you have to pay them more, thus you might as well by a stove and fry a chicken. :)

it's more important to get fresh fish and ingredents to make sushi. the chicken could have been sitting in the freezer for a couple days or a couple months and it'll still taste the same.
i remember that place todai's inside cherry creek mall and their salmon was awful, the meat tasted all weird and the texture was powdery.
needless to say i didn't touch sushi for a good year or so. then i went to korea and hong kong and had exceptionally fresh fish. now i'm hooked
