90 Laser Stolen last night

My 90 Laser RS, black, plate 690DZV was stolen from in front of my house last night.

No mods, nothing special.

Very faded paint, slight dent in drivers side front fender.

Think it was stolen due to the DSMlink inside of it? Or did you have the 1G DSMlink in another car?

Stolen near Orchard & Tower between 9:00 pm and 2:00 am last night.

Yea, it had a beta version of the 1g DSMLink in it... dunno if that was the reason.

Not gonna be much use without the beta client software for it or the interface cables.

Last night, roughly 11:30/midnight ish, I was next to some kid in a blue Laser on parker road. He was turning off of Orchard onto Parker road to go south, towards Arapahoe.

I remember because I was in the Denali, and the asshole stayed in my blind spot on the drivers side, and I needed to change lanes so I could go left at Arapahoe. I'd speed up, he would do the same. I'd slow down, and he would do that too. Pissed me off.

Dark hair medium build is all I can remember, sorry. I don't remember if he turned on Arapahoe or kept going straight on Parker either.

I'll keep my eyes open for sure now that I know yours is missing Hal. Sorry to hear, at least it wasn't the GSX!

It was recovered today, in pretty much the same condition it was in before the theft.

They dumped it in Highlands Ranch (off of Northridge) and stole a 2004 accura.

There are a lot of assholes like that in aurora. Sometimes i'm one of them. :D

According to the police, the acura was stolen the same night my beater was dumped there, and the m/o was the same.

Yup.

They probably wanted the Z4, but couldn't find the keys... so they took what they could get.

When they took that Acura, they went into the home took the keys and drove right of the garage.
