a 96 with 140,000 i will give you 3000. cash in hand. let me know. or i will trade you a nice 94 eg civic shell plus some cash for your shell.
think about it because you WILL NOT get 5500. i was selling a fullly built itr swapped eg civic for 5500. i decided to keep it.

Guess you'll have to come up with the rest on your own.

Yeah, the thing is high mileage (which kills loans) and is worth about 3500 private party. Nobody will be able to get a loan for it.
The bank doesn't care about its color or Si wheels.
Kelley blue book rates the value at good for 2980. jsuk. but that's a non modified car...so subtract the price of new shocks/street racing wear and tear and you really should only pay 2500 max

Typical crap from some people on this board. They'll lowball and have no intention of buying. Your best bet is to bring it back to stock, get some money from the mods and sell the car stock.

i have full intentions on buying it. im just not going to pay 5500 for a well used basically stock 96 civic. no one will pay that. i cant even understand why he would ask that much. blue book on it is 3000 in good condition. and if you dont know. mods actually reduce the value of a car.

Mods only reduce the value when trading in commericially due to the fact its harder to maintain by a factory dealer... But privately mods do not de-value your car. Especially selling to someone who understands what the mods are for. I mean come on now.... Do you want him to take off the alarm and put the stock deck back in and charge you more??? ;NutKick;
