It's been done. But the guys who did it, only did so because they have done so many normal set-ups that they wanted to try something else. Don't bother.

werd. The only reason to twin turbo would be because you're really bored and have all the parts you need laying around. It'd never make as much power as a well-sized single turbo.

:edit: the guy who built that motor that david posted did so for exactly that reason... for shits and giggles, not to make serious power. I remember that post on H-T.

it depends, you usually have dual turbos kicking in at different rpm's, porsche use this very well on 911's to give a very smooth response, low & high end power and remove lag.

while that's true, a sequential setup is far more complicated and usually not as reliable as a well-matched twin or single setup. especially when using different sized exhaust sides (worsened on V type engines).
