Meguiar's Hot Rims Wheel Cleaner.

I picked up a bottle of it tonight and gave it a try. Sprayed a bunch on, waited 15 seconds, washed it off, and the polished lip on my rim was a much much cleaner and shiney (I forgot what that looked like!). I then took a tire/wheel brush to it and the more persistent crap came right off like it was nothing. I'm incredibly pleased with this stuff.

I had tried other wheel cleaners, degreasers, pressure washing, and lots of scrubbing, but they didn't make much of a difference at all. The only way I found that actually cleaned it up good was scrubbing the hell out of it with EagleOne NeverDull, but that was tedious, exhausting, and took hours. This Meguiar's Hot Rims stuff really makes life a heck of a lot easier. Big thumbs up from me.

Now you should but a coat of wax. Yes wax! on it. after that all you have to do is spray it down with soap and scrub it everytime you wash the car and you won't build up that crap anymore.

Anywhere that sells Mequiar's stuff...Vatozone, for one.

I'll go pick some up tonight after work. I cleaned my wheels up with Dawn last night but there's some stuff that still wont come off. Then I'll throw on a coat of wax.

Actually the BEST cleaner I have ever found is found at Carquest, it's called purple power or some shit and you can only buy it in 1 gallon jugs. If it can completely clean 10,000 miles of wheel dust completely off my Jeep wheels without me even taking a scrubber to it, it gets my vote.

I bought some of that Megiuars. It works alright. Smells bad though. I threw on a coat of carnuba on the wheels afterwards. Now why cant they put on lots of clearcoat on the wheels like they do on brake calipers? Brake dust just wipes off on my Brembos.

If you have some wheels that are real bad ..go to your bathroom and get the scrubing bubbles cleaner and spray it on ...wait a couple min and wash off. I use it at the airport and works like a champ...
