So David and I were debating on whether I should take out my windshield washer reservoir or not. I want to do it to clean up my engine bay and so that I can get some weight reduction. He says not to do it because I need it to spray my window.
My CF hood didnt' even come with nozzles/squirters so even if I did keep it, that means that I would have to drill some holes or put the squirters elsewhere. What do you guys think?

I suffered one time in the winter when my washer reservoir ran out of fluid. I had to pull over, throw some snow on it and wait til the snow melted some before I could use my wipers to clean the windshield.

yeah, it's a good idea to be able to clean your windshield. especially since lately colorado weather sucks...

you count removing a plastic resevoir that, with pump, couldn't possibly weigh more than 1 pound as weight reduction? if it's the weight of fluid you're worried about, drain your oil and save over 10 pounds
Bad idea, keep it in there.

Hmm, I had 0.1's at the Test & Tune I went to, but I really don't give a shit about drag racing anyway.

If you plan on driving this car on the street, you're going to need them...
Dammit, I just voted but I voted wrong. Since the question was should I remove my res I said no, but after reading it the no was actually the yes. WTF.
Quit changing the question.
Anyways, the thing weighs like a pound. Take a lug off each wheel or something instead. :)

I have a windshield reservoir for a 5th gen Civic for sale if some ricer removed his and threw it out expecting to gain 2 mph in his trap speed and now wants to be able to see where he's going - $10.

I thought it would weigh mroe then that but alright.
So now I have to drill even more holes...How retarded, this car hates me.

How much of a difference is a little blue topped bottle in your bay going to "clean it up" ?
There are TONS of other ways to clean up your bay NTM safer ways than not being able to clean your windshield.
David actually performed this "mod" last night on his own car. Ask him how he did it.

Man, I really wish I had my video camera running when that happened. I can't even describe how funny it was to see you swerve all over the place and have a racoon come tumbling out the back at 60 mph. And he was still alive and moving his feet around while tumbling after you at a pretty good speed. Sounds horrible but I haven't laughed that hard in a long time.

you would of swerved too, that thing was fawking huge and he kept going to same place I was swerving :D
Who honked when I did that? I thought I might of cut somebody off but nobody was near me
