need a winter beater

need something reliable that I can drive in the winter. (RWD + Potenza S-03s + snow doesn't mix)

It's gotta be reliable and inexpensive. Appearance doesn't matter. Anybody want to get rid of something that falls into this category?

i have two beaters, i might end up selling one this year. If i do it will be the 86 Prelude Si. Cancer spots on the outside, but engine is strong.

I might have a white '91 Civic hatch basic for sale. Body and interior is pretty good, but windshield is cracked. Ripped bolster on the driver's seat of course. About 150K miles on the odo.

Perfect/brand new 13" all-seasons on steelies, drives fine but the motor is dying. Needs a motor swap.

Be a perfect ZC or D16A6 swap candidate. I can supply the D16A6 head and block too (and a CRX Si 5-speed). Email me if interested or for pictures.

I have a 350Z. Not sure why Juztin thinks it's a factory setup, though. All 350Zs come from the factory with Potenza RE040's.

The 86 Prelude sounds pretty good.. as I recall, those engines were fairly bulletproof. How much would you want for it?

hsunchen - thanks for the reply, but I'm really interested in something reliable, and I don't care to take the time/effort to do an engine swap. Working on my 350Z keeps me busy enough.
