For all those football fans you guys need to get the new ESPN football 2K5. It's $20 and at least from last year I've like the game play over Madden, so check it out and find out for yourself!

I almost bought this game yesterday. It looks pretty bad ass, but I was unsure of the gameplay so I decided not to.

The gameplay is great, unlike in madden (of last year) it's just more realistic and for $20 bucks you cant really go wrong :)

Where ever they sell it at, they are relesing it with such a low price to compete with madden, they want to spread the word :cool:

To compete with Madden, they figure since Madden has ruled the video game world of football games its going to be hard to convince the hardcore madden lovers to buy espn for the same price, hense last year I never bought it but did play it alot since one of my friends showed it to me. It's a great game, I think I will still buy Madden (maybe just rent it) but I think I'm going to play this season with ESPN :cool:

I played last years NHL4K and I liked it almost enough to buy that instead of EA's NHL2004 and this might be the year I switch franchises.
The same might be for football too and at $20 I think I'll go for it.

Wow check this news out!

Miami Dolphins running back Ricky Williams has retired from the NFL, according to a published report.


The Miami Herald reported early Sunday morning that Williams is just not interested in playing football.


"I just don't want to be in this business anymore," said Williams to the paper. "I was never strong enough to not play football, but I'm strong enough now. I've considered everything about this. Everyone has thrown every possible scenario at me about why I shouldn't do this, but they're in denial. I'm happy with my decision."

Yup, the ESPN hockey now OWNZ the EA one. Gameplay is a lot better and feels like more of a simulation, not so much an arcade game.

I have it for the playsation2, I'm afriad to plug my connection in or I would be up all night playing it.

3-0 so far and got a few things for the crib :cool:

Yeah I heard that the ESPN NHL game is better than the EA one... I haven't played a hockey game in a while, I think the last time I did I was not impressed and it was the ea one...

Defintaly a great way to kill some time.

You can also customise you endzone dances and alot of other little things, let me know if you want to get together to play a game, i dont mind adding a L in your profile :)

I got it and played it a little lastnight and it is really fun....We'll have to see about that loss though;)

Glad you like it, how many games have you played? Are you saving you VIP info? So far I'm 5-0 :) I'm trying to get down the Broncos playbook and maybe even start to create my own plays soon. Get at me when you want to play.

At $19.95 this was probably the biggest steal of a lifetime for any video game ever released.
