I purchased an ecu not to long ago, and when i hooked it up, i started the car, and my rpm needle doesn't move. It doesn't read, at all. We have tried differnet ecu's, different harnesses, and we can't seem to find the problem, i have a 1999 civic si, and if u know the problem, or think u might be able to help, PLEASE help me..

Check the wires running to the tach.

That would be either a speed sensor problem or a tach problem. That has nothing to do with ecu.

See if you messed with any of the wires running to the tach when you switched out ECUs.
If you put your stock ECU back into the harness does the tach work?
