Anybody know of where I could look for the power ratings and so forth of stock speakers?

91 Integra would be the one I'm looking for right now and a 97 Solara

Integras come with 15 watt Pioneer speakers. I think they are somewhere around 5 inches.

just 15? Ok cool. yeah they're 6 1/2s, I know that much.

I didn't want to buy some crap speakers and find out they're as strong as my stock ones.

Yeah, never mind about the size... I remembered having to modify the baskets when I installed aftermarket 6.5's, but that was for depth, not a larger diameter.

Most aftermarket speakers are better than stock. Stock are paper material and warp over time due to water and the elements. They are also just full range speakers and most of them have a whizzer cone for highs(if you even call it that).

One thing I'd like to add.

The reason why stock speakers are handle ony minimal power is that they are very efficient. The flip side is that they sound average at best.

So, if you upgrade your speakers expect less output from your system.

However, it will sound better.
