camshaft upgrade

When installing a performance camshaft like jun, skunk2, or toda what will happen with the rev limiter, will the car's computer program itself to a higher reving point automatically or is there something the owner has to do himself? I hope this makes sense! Thanks for any help.

rev limiter is ecu set. You cant change it unless you reprogram it.
