I NEED MAJOR HELP. (Spark plug cross threaded into head)

I just bought a '91 626. The jackass who worked on the car prior crossthreaded one of the spark plugs into the head (which is aluminum.) Is there anyone that can re-tap the head (preferably without removing it.) I've only had this car 2 days, so this is a real bummer.

I have cash and need help IMMEDIATELY! Please respond here or PM me if you can assist. TIA

machine shop could do it for you...Helicoil might also work (not sure if it would work on a head though)

many local parts stores have a re-thread kit that might work I have used it on a couple other cars and it held. People I know had bad luck with the kit but its worth a try I think it was under $30 ;)

there are inserts speciafically for cylinder heads. i have my doubts a helicoil would hold up in that environment.

any mechanic should have them on hand, and have the tools to install it.
