Loose Accessory Belt

My car, a 92' honda accord ex has a aftermarket alternator with a very messed up mounting system and the belt is loose on the alternator so im trying to tighten the belt but the power steering pump is in the way, i cant even remove the power steering pump, it has a tensioning bolt on the bottom of it but i cant get to it because of the aftermarket 200amp alternator's mounting plate which is at least a 1/4 inch thick.

I'd have to look at it again to remind myself but I did change the alternator on my little brother's '91 Accord a few months ago. It wasnt too hard. Yes, the pump was in the way but I did loosen it and move it out of the way.

Yeah but the biggest problem is the damn alternator plate, I cant get to the bolt to loosen the power steering pump letting it loosen the belt...I think i may need to take it to someone or wait for cooler weather! :cool:
