Correction. I just did the math and the jet I am using is roughly a 35 shot. So I will hold on. I went and drove it and was like "eh, coul dbe better" thinking I was in third gear. Turns out I was in fourth. I think I am going to be out of gears in the .25 mile so we will see this weekend how it turns out.

Dont civics top out at like 120?
How will you run out of gear?
Your trap time isnt that fast, right?

My b16 tranny tops out around 110 in forth gear. I have to shift into 5th with about 25 ft left of track... sucks

What motor do you have? My 90 Integra RS tranny (geared similar to a GSR or B16) runs to about 110 in forth was well. Well, the speedo says 110, but the traps are only 105mph. Anyway, my car redlines at 6,500rpm, so I figured if you had a B16a/b or B18C1/5 you'd be able to go a little higher in forth. Fortunetly, I cross the traps right as I cross the redline at the top of 4th.

I got an indicated 116 in 4th at 6500 rpm in my 91RS. Never on the dragstrip though.

I think you must have had the longer geared LS transmission, as they started using it that year. I wish my gears were either a little longer (but not much) or I had a 6 speed. Actually, a six speed would be the better deal, but that's not going to happen.

I have a b16... yeah mine redlines at 110, but traps are usually a little lower too. With a gsr tranny you are able to go to around 120 in forth.

I have a GSR final drive and I rev to 8800. BUT.. I have short tires, only 22 inches tall. So I hit the limiter at about 112mph.

Oh and Ryan, its not a turbo POS, it makes all of its torque at about 4000 RPM all the way to redline. Coupled with the fact that it only has about 1400 lbs over the fron tires and 600 over the rear its lots of fun trying to steer.

Sweet Tobi! Can't wait to see what you will be running in Vegas

HONDA GHANDI

Well it ran a 12.80@108mph in Vegas. I lifted at the 1000 foot mark because I am stupid. The end of the track is a good 200 feet AFTER the towers that display the time, I lifted at the signs like I do at Bandi. Oh well. The next time trial I made one of my stage 3 DSS axles a 3 peice so the first night was ruined. The next night I was using a stocker axle that is a spare so I left the bottle off since they were only giving us one time trial. It went 13.20@104 on the motor (air was really bad there so Im happy with the run. It was at 5800feet and 98 degrees). Then in first round the problem I was having with the tranny finally surfaced, the clutch is gone. Once it heats up it will no longer disengage. So it started creeping at the line resulting in a redlight. :(
I ran it out anyway amd missed third (becasue of the clutch I assume) and griding every other gear adn it went 13.40. Oh well.

Chris Dye on the other hand went on to win teh event in Bracket 2 and got a wally.

I may go up on Weds before I go on vacation and see what she will run on the bottle here.
