Well I just acquired some new products I still need to test, and I've been thinking about expanding a little and getting more things so I can better do the interiors, thus it looks like this weekend I'll be detailing.

I have 4 spots open.

July 3rd -
9:00 am - 2:00 pm
2:00 pm - 7:00 pm

July 4th -
9:00 am - 2:00 pm
2:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Each one is a 5 hour detail and will cover everything I have time for. Thus of course the paint, trim, windows, tires, wheels, etc... If it's a newer car that has lost it's shine, or a slightly older one that needs some love, either way it will be transformed.

It of course includes removal of swirls and oxidation, and a good coat of protection that will really shine. I can't say exactly what products will be used, because I have many. Different products are better for different people and different cars. We'll just have to expirament a little untill we find something that works for both you and your vehicle.

I'll be doing it from my place which is about 5 miles west of I-225 and parker road, on the Denver/Aurora border (good place to buy fireworks, about 6 tents within 2 miles of here).

Cost will be $75 per car. Assuming the owner doesn't have a problem, I don't mind if people come and watch. Part of the detail is showing you the process so you understand how it works. Plus, you will be educated on how you can keep your car looking that good all the time.

I'll do this on a fairly first come - first serve basis. Post here if you are interested as well as the car, what kind of condtion its in, and what you want out of it. Let me know which of those times work for you too.

I'll try to get everyone in, though there are a few people here who I owe details to. If one of them posts later I might have to bump one of the first responders off to make room. Don't worry though, there will be many chances in the future.

Word.

Jump on this people. Paul knows his stuff. Get it done Saturday and you can come to the meet at 108th and Colorado and show off that better-than-new-car shine.

Actually i got better. I picked some stuff up at nicks that is suposed to be a great bug remover. Most bug products are solvents. Thus the disolve the wax as well as the insect, and you have to redo things. This stuff is an enzyme that was created to destroy organic material. So the bugs are gone and wax is safe. I'll try it out on your car.

Paul i didn't know you lived that close to me. We definately need to set something up for a weekend so you can detail my g/f car. I'm sure it will take at least 5 hours on the paint alone. when do you start school again?

Paul is the best detailer that i know of so far.

I'd love a spot on the 3rd...the del Sol hasnt been seriously detailed yet and it needs some love. All this weather without any protection on the paint is a real pain in the arse.

Let me know.. :)

I definitely want in on this, I just have to figure out what time/day works best. I am thinking 9-2 on the 3rd, unless I have missed something no one has taken an actual spot yet.

I will clean all the mud out of the interior before hand.

I'll even let you drive it, Paul.

I'd like to get my Runner done sometime but I have a friend who I'd been bragging about you to with a Jetta who'd like a spot so I'll have to talk to him and see if this weekend would be good for him.

I can do Saturday afternoon. But, i'm flexible, I can wait and do it some other time also. So if someone else wants to take my spot, feel free. I need to unhook my safc and injectors and rewire a bunch of stuff before sunday.

Would you be willing to make a house call? Either Sat. or Sun morning would be fine. I don't have a downpipe on my car yet and don't want to drive it anywhere. i live around tower and hampden.

I could probably do that. All I really need that I can't suply is a hose, garage and electricity.

Hey Doc - I'm interested in learning from you, but I can't make it this weekend. Will you be available during the weekend of the 23rd? Unfortunately, due to my apartment complex rules, I can't do it there. It'd have to be at your place.
