I called honda menders on friday, and I needed a wiring harness for a swap I'm doing into my cousins crx. I called to see if they had the complete engine harness, and the connections to the ecu. They told me they did, and it would be $100. I called up my cousin and told him to go pick it up. My cousin doesn't know a lot about cars or wiring, but I told him to make sure it didn't look cut. He finally dropped it off to me yesterday when I was at work, but I was a little busy, so I just made sure it wasn't cut, and threw it in my car. I started putting the engine in today, and I was looking at the wiring harness to see what kind of wiring I'd have to do, and I realize they didn't give me the connection to the ecu. I called my cousin, and asked if he had it, but he didn't. So he decided to call them to tell them they forgot that part of the wiring harness. The guy he talked to told him that isn't part of the engine wiring harness, but I specifically asked for that peice on the phone. My cousin told him I had asked for that as well, and that we really needed it for this swap, and the guy told him he didn't need to deal with this right now. My cousin asked if he could come pick it up, and the guy told him no. Then my cousin said you'd better deal with this right now, because we need it soon, and the guy told him to "fuck off" then he just hung up. My cousin called him back and asked him what his problem said, and he told him he wasn't going to deal with this shit, so my cousin finally got another person on the phone, and it's going to cost $40 more dollars for something that I was quoted to be with the other harness. Both of us are pissed, and I won't be doing anymore business with them. I'd advise the same to the rest of you, because that is no way to do business.

I took my car there once for some repair work a long time ago when I didn't know anything... needless to say, my experience was about as good as yours was.

Good to know. They arent that way in Michigan, but I think there are some laws that keep people from really getting screwed by salvage places. Trying to find parts for my car is like something out of the Fast and the Furious.

You can have it done if you overnight parts................from Japan.
