Does anyone know the name of the service that is like LoJack but has GPS and a pager? A guy told me about it. It's suposed to be expensive but very very effective. It's what cops put on their bait cars.

When the car is away from you after activated it seems to let the pager know. So you can call or jump online and activate it. Online you can track exactly where your car is and going (like mapquest) and so can the cops (ie they don't need any special tracking stuff like with lojack). It also suposedly lets you shut your car off and completly lock the doors, so they can only get out through a broken window.

I think that's how the guy explained it works. I believe it was called Sky<something> Anyone know what i'm talking about?

The problem with that is that it just records activity for you to see later. You can't find out where your car is at any given time; you have to connect the unit to your computer and see where it has been.

You should see my car right now...too bad I only live like half a block from a gas station. Maybe they would take the time to gas it up for me?
