I have a 97 rs integra. I was thinking about getting the skunk 2 manifold for it. Is it worth it for me to buy it or will i not see any real performance gains?
I'm not sure, but I know some of those manifolds are only designed to make power when you are revving to like 10,000rpm. But I think that might be the JG Victor mani.

doing stuff together air+fuel, it does make slight differences, like a slightly larger TB but the more air you get the more the more fuel you'll need, but also.
do you plan on swaping motors any time soon?? because that skunk2 won't work
on a vtec motor, or so i've been told.
but i would do a 62mm TB first.

Without any other mods, you wont see a difference. If combined with more aggressive mods such as stage 2+ cams and cam gears along with the usual I/H/E, you'd notice more gains.

If i keep this motor i will do cams and all that stuff. But is it really worth it to do all that to an ls. I want a quick car to drive for now. I dont have the money to spend on a turbo or motor swap. Im getting a gsr tranny to put in so that will help a little. I need to finish my basement and do some other things on my house before i dump a lot of money into my car. I need to keep the car reliable too. I just want to do little things to get me a little faster.

really bro unless your gona boost, or nawwwwwwwwwwz that bitch ide save for a swap, or even ls/vtec. i know lots of people that spent tons of $ on a ls motor just to swap it for a vtec down the road.
the non vtec is very limited without FI

Yep, nitrous is really the only thing that'll give you what you -really- want. ;)

After seeing your profile and that other post about your ET, I am confused... so do you have a 97 rs, a 97 ls, or a 92 rs. ?

Tai, did you lose a few marbles from that pocketbike fall? I think you're confusing him with another Integra owner on the board. Hehehe.

I have a 97 RS integra. I had nitrous for a while and my motor blew up at 120k miles. I dont want to do that again.

If I were you I wouldn't buy a new intake manifold, it is a waste of money if you don't have major mods. Just keep saving your money until you have enough for a turbo kit.

i wouldn't buy one either. i had i/h/c/e, t/b,fuel rail and i didn't notice any real gains until i got a fuel pressure regulator. save for a swap or just buy your turbo piece by piece. you dont have to have it all right now. do you?

I'd do cams before an intake manifold, IMO.
