Blow off valves

I've tried searches for reviews on blow off valves, and have come up dry. I want to shoot for something close to $100-$120. It would have to fit on a greddy charge pipe, and would only be required for a setup of 6lbs. I already know that a bov isn't absolutely necessary, however I want to put one on to prolong the life of the hardware.

What do you guys recommend?

That's the thing, you probably won't find many reviews. As long as it isn't made for 30psi (when you are running 6) and it let's air out, they are all the same except sound. There are different types that work differently, but I doubt you'd see any performance differences with them. Also, any BOV will fit on whatever pipe you want, all you do is just weld it on.

Yea, that's $240 on greddy's site...and it's pink.

So I can get pretty much any of the cheaper bov's because I won't be running much boost, so I go on price, and or, appearance.

get a 1g dsm bov, very cheap, polishes up nicely. sounds pretty good, too :)

Any stock BOV would work for you. DSM, 3/S, Supra, 300zx, RX7, WRX, etc. They all run over 12psi stock, so they will all work for your application.

Start searching ebay.

Or you can get the apex'i universal BOV that you can adjust.

Comes with a pipe with a flange, this is how I got mine (I can't weld.).

don't use a BOV off a 3000GT or Stealth. they are really shitty plastic things that leak.
