Take it to Paul. He works wonders on cars with swirls.

I'm sure he does but I have the required tools to fix them myself and im without a job for the time being so taking it to someone is out..
My car is also oxidizing reallly bad and I cant seem to stop it... I have a buffer... power waxer... and power washer..
Well my dad owns a car dealership so he has pretty much everything....

Then tell your dad to muscle around one of the boys there to help you out.

I think that what Paul did on mine was:

Clay bar
Polish
Natural wax
Synthetic wax

I think that was it, it's been a while and there was so much done in a matter of a few hours. I'm not sure about that order either. Sorry.

Hey thanks jones.... My swirls are pretty ugly, what polish do you recommend using to fill the swirls... I am interested in that liquid sand paper thing also.... One other problem is my hood is oxidizing pretty bad.... I have used cleaner / wax on it but it seems like it just keeps coming back... I dont know what I should do about it... I buffed it and that didnt last... it started to show again in like 2 days.... I would like to learn how to paint cars and learn how to detail from a pro... I've tried to sit in on a few cars with my dads detail guy but he's a real asshole... I am looking into a job detailing cars so any advice would be helpful....

Heres some products I was looking at can you give me an opinion on them:
Mequires NXT Wax...
NXT Generation Car Wash
Quik Clay Detailing System

I also see this clear coat product that mequires makes... Have you used it? Do you think it would take out the swirls..
Mequires Clear Coat Body Scrub Paint Cleaner (http://www.meguiars.com/store_meguiars/product_detail.cfm?sku=A-10)

Sorry to overwhelm you but I got a bunch of rock chips in the front of my car... I have been thinkin about touching them up but does touch up paint look like the normal paint or is it dull and leaves dull spots all over your car? I herd if you do the touch up paint right it comes out like the rest of the car... Whats your recommendation on how to do touch up?
