Some ideas please.

Hi,

I own a DSM, but I have friend at work that owns a 89' CRX. He wants to do an engine swap and I told him I would ask you guys for some ideas. He is straying away from the H22 swap. What about a B18? I have no idea about these things. Also he has a few thousand to do it. Is there anyone that can help with an install. How much do you think it will cost. Anyway, basically just some ideas on what to do with his car. He can't sell it, because he can't get a loan for another car just yet. Thanks

If he only has a few thousand then the B18B and B16 are good choices. THere are still quite a few of them around and can be had for cheap. If you do the labor yourselves it saves a few pennies too.
