Foreign License Plates

Is it illegal to have foreign plates on your front?

Where can I buy foreign plates for a reasonable price?
I really want Russian and Israeli plates.

i know in some states, not sure about which ones, a euro plate is legal as long as it isn't black on yellow. a few months ago i saw an audi with die-cut number/letter stickers stuck on the bumper as a front plate. looked good.

I would think that could be considered fictious plates, depending on your interpretation of the law. Either way, you are required to have a valid colorado plate on the front, and putting it in the windshield doesn't count.

I would think ficticious would mean an illegal representation of a united states license plate.

What dilema.

Look cool or not get a ticket.

i think it's either way a $30 ticket for not having a front colorado plate. i also was searching for russian licence plate but couldn't find any, even on ebay. there were some polish and other EU plates, but i don't need them.
if you find a place to find rus plates - lemme know!

Just carry the plate with you and when you get pulled over say that it fell off... you just haven't gotten any bolts to put the plate back on yet...

im running a german plate on the front

im just playing craps everyday hoping a cop doesnt want to give me some trouble. BTW : a fictious plate carries a $61.20 fine

That was my story but mine actually did fall off! I was just to lazy to put it back on!
