Great Idea, I think that someone should post a TOPIC in the next couple of weeks to set up an HAI trip for this event, besides its only about 1 hour away and its definately Going to be One of the best events ever to come to Co. If you have never been to a drift event beforeI highly reccomend it.

Considering an average import event at Bandimere is $15.00
it's worth the extra $5 especially if you have never whitnessed a pro drifting event.

Wow, I'm there- $100 is rough though, even when the most expensive auto-x is $55...
You guys know what kind of tech inspection is involved? The few drift events I've looked into required 4 sets of extra tires mounted on rims, other BS like that...
Gotta get my hachi roku up to par so it doesn't get outdriven by a BMW...!

Not really, I've gotten a little turned off by the huge number of people lately- not to mention I'm stuck in DSP because of a couple things on my car. I'm gonna try and run STS a couple times this year. (I hear my bud Mike Reiger is giving you guys a run, BTW... :D )
You should check out a BMWCCA event sometime- they're $55, but you get 8 runs usually. That's where I've been running instead of SCCA this year.

i have not recived any cancellation notices as of 8:00pm saturday nght, and their website dosen't show any signs of the event being cancelled. Also I beleve the show cars will be under the grand stands wich covers that part of the event, and i sure as hell would hope that rain wouldn't stop a drifting event. Im almost positive they are prepared for such weather and are going to go on as normal, weather it rains or not.

well aside from the hard rain and wind for about an hour, definately had a great time and got to see drifting in the rain for the first time. Looked like all of the drift competitors had a great time and the pros were amazing. I especially liked the pontiac GTO drifting, sounded burly as hell and the driver was very good. The rear wheel drive integra was a sight to see drifting. Hope everyone who went had a great time.
