Some of the bulletproof cars use that. They were also talking about using that stuff in regular cars since in an accident the glass would be more contained instead of in your eyes. Cool stuff nontheless.

I called on this and talked to a guy named Chris and he said that they were trying to start it up in Denver. They have a shop that does home and buisness glass but auto glass will hopefully be up here in the next few weeks. This tint has to cover all the glass not like standard tint. It only comes in 50, 35, and limo black. You can also do a clear if you would like then tint over it. of course it is not bullet proof but it will help from some of the smash and grab stuff that we are seeing a lot of.

I think I might see if I can order a sample piece of it and try it on a spare piece of glass or something. Wonder what it means to cover all the glass not like standard tint.

Because it is tempered glass, whatever you dont cover will fall in pieces. Covering the whole thing makes it strong even when the window is cracked because the entire window is still intact.

That would make it nearly impossible to tint cars...or make it very very expensive.

u would have to remove the glass, tint it and then put it back in.
