what do you think of the bolt on wheel spacers? the ones that will let you conver your 4 lug into 5 lug....5 lug into 6 lug...etc.. i havent heard anything bad about them but i was wondering if anyone can give me more info on them. i heard that they used them to mount bigger rims..like 22 or 24 on trucks. how does that work out? any info will help me out, thanks. :Peace:

I've never seen the ones that convert 4 to 5 lugs or anything like that. I've only seen the ones that give your rims a bigger offset for larger tires, or to clear calipers. I'd assume they'd offset the wheel alot because they'd have to make room in the spacer to put the studs. don't know for sure.

poeple use them all the time
performance wheel and tire makes them. but the farther
you go out the more stress there is on the hub assembly.
so don't go overboard, when we put 24's on tahoe's we would have to trim the bumper
so you could turn it but it's not
the cure all to start trimming pieces off to make something work.
