thanks for the help that everyone here has given me i now have 4 wheel disks on my civic and i can say it was well worth it. it feels like the stoping power has been doubled.

one last question for it though, i have spent a load of money on this swap, (more than i thought i would) and now i cant get the new rotors. does anyone know of anything that will take off the rust on the rotors and be drivable at least until my next check? thanks

The brake pads will take it off. Seriously if the rust isnt too thick they will be shiny new in a few days. Otherwise you can have them machined to clean them up.

the pads wont leave a glazed rust there i heard something like that could happen and that would bee really bad

a brake hone might be a good idea, call a brake shop or two and see what they ahve to say. honing should clean up the rust and allow the pads to seat properly.
