I know it's been done many times. Just got a few questions.
I drive a 93 Accord.
First off, any ideas on how much it would cost?
Would it cost more to do an auto to MT switch?
Would an AT to MT switch be hard?
Any better suggestions for a swap?
Any more info you guys can throw my direction will be appreciated.

BTW: My internet explorer is fucked up on my computer, so I wont be able to check back often, so if you can IM me my AIM is xiveex, or email: ek0ms@yahoo.com (with a zero)

Thanks
Matt

Depends on if you do it yourself, Then it is just the cost of parts. Most places will charge 1000 for install.
Auto to manual is very expensive to do even if you find the parts cheap.

The only other thing you could swap into an accord would be a F20A (accord SIR-T motor) its basicly a H22 with higher compression and a few other things.

A good place to get the motor is hmotorsonline.com. get a full swap for about 2000 and i have never heard anything bad about them.

And you lucky cause the CB7 is a direct fit for a H22, us CD5/7 people have to mix and match motor mounts.

at-mt conversion are not worth the money. sell your car and get a manual to start.

forge your engine internals and boost your current engine. that's an option i'm considering at the moment, being on a very tight budget.

I think the going rate for an h22a swap is somewhere in the neighborhood of $2200-2500. I'm not sure about the at/mt conversion in a cable-shifter car though.
