I posted this on ClubWRX.net but figured some of you might be interested as well. Stop by, and bring some friends... it should be a good time.

Hey guys,

summary:
Rasta Pasta in old town Ft. Collins
Friday, May 7, 10pm, 21+
The Sisters O'Brien playing a show, and raffling off prizes
Helping to raise money for a community service group I am travelling to Africa with this summer

details:
I know there is a decent Ft. Collins group, and I'm asking for your help here. I am going to Zambia and Botswana for 2 months this summer with a group named FORGE to help improve the education and living conditions in two refugee camps there. I will also be working on a photo project focused on all of the interesting things that these people do to pass the time--much like ourselves. You can see some of my previous photo work at www.BryanTroll.com
There is a great band called The Sisters O'Brien that is helping me out bigtime and playing a benefit show at Rasta Pasta in old town Ft. Collins Friday, May 7 at 10pm, and the proceeds will go toward raising money for FORGE, which hasnt been easy to do. They play really chill, GOOD music. They recently picked up a few new members so who knows what they'll come up with at this show.
Rasta Pasta is a bar, and entrance will be 21+. The band really is amazing, and I'm not just saying that to get you to come out to it. Entrance will be $5 (or less), and you'll be entered into a raffle to win some gift certificates, tshirts, or other goodies local places were kind enough to donate. You can donate further if you would like, and each additional $5 donation will get you another raffle ticket.
Thats about all the info I have right now, if you can stop by you really should!! Maybe we can make this a meet... meet up before and then go to the bar/show. If this is a success it will really help myself and FORGE out.
If you have any other ideas on how to raise money in a limited amount of time or you want to help, get in touch with me. For more info on the group, visit www.worldrefugeeacademy.org/WRAForge.html

It's on the north side of old town square if you know where that is.

Rasta Pasta
200 Walnut Street Suite A
Fort Collins, CO 80524

http://www.mapquest.com/maps/map.adp?country=US&countryid=250&addtohistory=&searchtab=address&searchtype=address&address=200+walnut+street&city=fort+collins&state=CO&zipcode=80524&search=++Search++

Basically head north on college and after old town (with all the diagonal parking in the middle of the street) turn right on Walnut and it's right on the corner on the northeast side of the intersection.

Is there a good parking lot at any of the surrounding parks? Like Lee Martinez park right past the RR tracks? maybe that would be a good place to meet up. Theres no way we will find parking together in old town on a friday night.

We could meet up some where on college. Like we could meet up at that huge K-Mart parking lot or around there.

The Kmart at Drake and College? That would work. What time? Maybe meet up at about 8? Post it up if that works and Who all will be there.

Well I would be up for it, FOr any people coming form denver its VERY easy to find.

Go north on I-25, take the Harmony exit (right), you go till you hit college then make a (left). Go till you hit drake (on the right). then your there.

And to get to rasta pasta you just get back on college and go north till you hit old town. (its last light before you hit the end of the main old town)

you turn right at a starbucks (and you should see it, next to a place called la luz)
