I need some help. Iwas checking the oil level and I noticed that the 2 nuts that hold the spark plug cover on my "99 Civic Si were moving freely and did not get tight at all. So I removed the other 2 and noticed that the 2 bottom stds were broke under the second set of nut. then I noticed it was wet like from oil.do I have to worry about the head. Someone told me that to change those studs I have to remove the head to replace them. The only thing I can think of is that the dealership was the last place i had service done and they replaced the spark plugs. Has this happen to anyone?

No. Just remove the valve cover, not the head.

whoever told you the head needs to come off should be beaten to within inches of their life with their own shoe. :)

;NutKick; The one that needs the beaten is the moron at the dealer who overtorqued the damm things and didn't say anythign about it.

Well the dealership said they would replace the part with no charge on friday. So I go there and wait 45 minutes and then they come back and say they ordered the wrong part. So I'm like REALLY pissed off by then. Now i gotta wait till Tuesday for them to get the right part.
