all you need is a Heater Hose or something at big and you will pass for a Blow Down tube....

yah, thats the same problem i got...and they told me thats all you need was some hose on the relief valve and run it down into the bottom of your trunk...

but if you got money, on track performance sells the actual blow down tubes that fit the bottles...which are about $20, i think...

No, that does sound correct after checking eBay. So I can use a 'heater hose'? Is it rubber... metal, what's it look like?

You just have to make sure to know if your bottle is externally threaded or internally threaded for the burst disk cap when you buy the blow down. BTW, I have had a tech guy say anything about me not having one.

I ran nitrous at Bandi without a blow down tube.

Where was your bottle mounted? Mine is mounted in the trunk.

Same place. In the trunk. Low end facing the back.

Well, just because he got away with it doesn't mean that you will. It's a pretty bad idea to assume so, you could be let down. Then you would be :( and you would :guns: Hung, then the :cop: would show up and "beat: you up, then we wouldn't get your participation points.

Nah, I wouldn't shoot Hung, he's an awesome guy. Anyways, maybe I'll ask a tech at Bandimere or something and triple check.

Why do you need a purge kit?

Have you NOT seen F&F??? :)

I am getting this horrible 'delay and then lunge' when I engage the nitrous, and so I think that it is air build up in the lines... purge kit would definitely help that from what I've read up.

Hehe, I guess I never really cared enough to get a purge kit for it. I installed it for street fun.

If I were serious about using nitrous on the dragstrip, I'd get it to be have more consistent runs.

For the most part it's just for street fun as well, but if someone is selling a purge kit I might as well pick it up to complete my setup. :)

On Track performance.

And don't think you can get away w/o a blowdown tube. NHRA rules require them. Just because one tech inspector at bandimere let someone slide by means nothing.

So On-Track has purge kits...? I'll check it out.

So, anymore info on this heater tube, please do tell or if it's recommended that I just do a premade blowdown tube.
