What do you guys think about the spoon chip:

5,600 VTEC and 8,500 red line

I was thinking about putting this into my P72, but I heard it makes your motor run extremely rich. I also heard if I place the chip in, I can't get Hondata. Is there any truth to this?

thanks

any kind of chip imho is just a bandaid for the problem. go with what ryanman said and just do the tuning with hondata the right way.

Any chip out there is for an N/A application, so if you are turbo, just walk the other way.

chips do make it run really rich. They arent worth it IMO. Just do it the right way and go with the Hondata.

Spoon is the name of a japanese Honda tuner.

Raising your redline on stock valvetrain is not a good idea.

Aw come on. Pleeeeeeeese!

BTW go Hondata, then you can put the VTEC whereever teh hell you want it and set teh rev limiter to eleventy billion if you want. Like me!
