Nice pics! The funny unbelieveable thing is that TsiTim and I saw that at the movie theatre on 52nd and Wads like a year ago. Weird to see a car of that caliber taken to see a movie.

Yeah but to go see a movie? I don't like leaving my civic out, much less a car that there's only like 5 of in the state. When Tim called me I thought he was Bs'ing me, I expected to see a sentra with R33 tails, but low and behold there it was. I stared at it for about 30 minutes till our movie started.

Maybe he's a very trusting guy. I remember he drove it in one of the import shows and someone stole a badge off of it. Maybe he just doesn't care.

What is that guys name. I rode in a R33 maybe a year or so ago. His name was Hans. He claimed like it was pushin like 550 hp. Nice little experience. Shit was so fast! I got out of the car with a perma grin for like an hour.

skylines fucking rule.quick question.whats the main difference in performance between the r33 skyline and r34 skyline? horsepower difference? torque? quarter mile times? weight difference? any additional features? just curious.
since you can pick up a r33 skyline for about the same price you would pay for a a lancer evo.Abut 30 grand from motorex.

They updated the transmission ,brakes and that cool gauge cluster on the R34 I beilive. Did some little cosmetic things, not a whole lot different from the two.

the r33 was a 5 speed, the r34 received the getrag 6 speed. they also updated the ATTESA system on the 34, larger brakes and thought power was set at a gentleman's agreement of 280hp, the powerband and delivery was refined. plus the 34 has the center console lcd screen which moniters everything from exhaust temp, to recording lap times to being your own boost guage.

don't believe that skylines are n/a. for 30 grand, your looking at the r32 gtr, or if your lucky, an r33 gts. gts is single turbo rwd, instead of twin turbo 4wd.

first off, i'm not claiming to be any skyline expert, i'm just merely stating some information. secondly, last time i was informed by sean at motorex that the price they listed on there site is what you pay to have a street legal skyline, not just the price of the car. "All cars are 50 state legal. Prices include DOT, EPA and paper work on the vehicle. " granted that was a couple years ago, and if they raised their prices due to the expose the skyline received from both fast & furious movies, then i apologize for posting info that's not current. lastly, that comment about me thinking before i post is uncalled for. i might have posted out of date information, but don't take me as a child, or as av630 where i have not put anythought into my posts.

I too thought that you could just buy one of those R32 GTR's from 1990 and you'd only pay 30 grand.
