I have been driving a 97 Dodge Ram around the last week and recently it has been giving me problems. It is only idling at about 2500 RPM seems low but I never really paid any attention until today. Also it just started dying. I can't keep it running unless I have my foot on the accelerator. Anyone have any ideas?

2500 RPM seems low??? i would say thats WAAAYY to high. It should be in the 1000 RPM range.
I think he meant 250 rpm by the way.

Turn up the idle screw and call it a day.
