Yeah, so about 8 months ago i reformatted my comp because it was so fugged up... well when i formatted i didnt have an anti virus so i just said "eh what the hell, ill turn up the security settings, leave firewall on etc.." well about a week ago i decided to get an anti virus again so i downloaded AVG anti virus. Anyway, its a great program... this thing went through all my files and found 400+ files infected with the win32/pirite virus or somethin like that. Well it also went ahead and deleted those infected files. Well soon after i tried opening some different programs and nothing would open. Somehow i got internet explorer opened and looked up wtf this virus did. I guess it attaches itself to your executable files and when the virus scan got rid of the infected files, it made it impossible to open those programs that had the .exe file deleted. So ive had some down time... i went and bought another hard drive to put all my music and other shit onto and then did a complete reformat. Now i installed the virus protection RIGHT AWAY so i dont go through this bullshit again. On the plus side, my computer runs amazing once again and I've now got 160 GB of Hard drive space lol. Just thought id share.

moral of story: use anti virus software
other moral of story: never ever ever delete your executable files lol ;NutKick;

Dont delete them next time. You should usually quarantine and repair files if those options are open. It will save you save you a big fuckin butt ache.
