Summer Kick Off Meet

Here's an idea: Let's do a Saturday meet in June and make it a huge deal. We could call it the "Summer Kick Off", and hold it at a park where we can do a BBQ, volleyball, and etcetera. That way we won't have to worry about an age limit. Just a thought....

i'd check w/ city of northglenn to make sure they don't have some kind of activity planned on that day. i think around that time last year they had this big time going for the community.

Alrighty...I've been doing some thinking about this and here's what I'm thinking of:

1. Better location: Clement Park, in Littleton...it's huge. And I have connections. Start at 2:00?

2. Awards! Best Exterior; Best Interior; Best Sound; Best Overall; and even a Shame award. To have a panel of judges that consists of 3 members who are willing to accept the responsiblity.

3. No alcohol. Most parks require a liquor license for large parties.

4. Volleyball

5. Car View hour - which would also include the judging & photography.

6. Some kind of night time event - any ideas? I.E. Drive to Red Rocks, Downtown, etc.

My only concern with doing this on May 1st, is our un-reliable weather.

What do you guys think? Anyone willing to join the "committee" or judging panel?

Just come to a few meets and you'll see what they're like. We all pretty much just park somewhere near each other, talk, bs, walk around and check out other people's cars. Then as people get hungry, we decide on a place to go grub at and head over there. After that, we all decide what to do next. There's really nothing set in stone.

anyway, I am currently getting a new clutch in my supra the guy said it would be done on saterday... Hopefully he sticks with his word so I can make it... if not the only way Ill be able to make it is with a ride.

O and im getting a "High Performance Clutch" put in my dad says... he gave the car to one of his friends who has a 450hp supra exacly like mine...

Im not going to bother to ask what kind of clutch it is because originally my dad was gonna put a OEM one it and ANYTHING is better then that!

So just in case anyone coming from the longmont area that could swing by and pick me up if my cars not done?

hmm id never pay a shop to install a clutch for me :( i guess thats cause i could do it myself.. but everyone overchargers for somthing like that.. id of done it for you for 1/4th the price probably :( and hehe... lol i dont suck anyways i might make it to this meet.. we'll have to see though

My smartass decide to take the carb apart, and i think i messed something up. I also have a hard time starting it. It start just fine when i first got it. But i could also be the old gas that i use for the go-ped.
