Ok, here's my situation: I bought my car from this kid that decided he wanted a white interior. He painted just about everything on the inside of the CRX with white paint. I think its house paint or something. I removed all of it off of the poris areas with the little dimples all over it with laquer thinner, but the smooth plastic areas are just not getting clean. Any ideas? I tried paint thinner and it didnt really work too well. Thanks-Loren

LOL I did that with my car too. Painted a good amount, then decided it looked gay so I took paint thinner to it. I'm only about halfway done.

No offense but what were you thinking lol!!! i dont know how yours turned out, but this was horrible- the whole console, ebrake, shift boot, vents, even the CRX on the fabric, which is still not completely off. try laquer thinner if you can, it worked better for me than paint thinner, i just rubbed a sponge with it on it across it and after a while the paint just bubbled up and i peeled it off. how are you getting the paint off the smooth surfaces? - Loren

i bet you could get some vents or even go to honda and get some new vents and just replace as much as you can. I'm guessing the vents and little things aren't that expensive.

Yeah, they are dirt cheap if not free at a junk yard.

Mine turned out really nice but then again I took very good care of it, making sure nobody scratched it or nothing hit it. It looked really good (in my opinion) but I got really tired of trying to take care of it. All of my paint came off really easy with paint thinner, actually lacquer thinner as you mentioned. I just haven't done the back yet because before I remove the panels I'd like to replace the 6x9's so I can kill 2 birds with one stone.

Yeah, I went to the local junkyard, they had one CRX and they basicly rape you on everything down there, the console + vents cost over $50. I thought that seemed a little excesive.

Just flash them, and run out. Seriously, what are they going to do?
