Drift Showoff will be at Pikes Peak (PPIR) on June 27th. Pretty far if you ask me, but seem like there should be some sick cars there. Looks like a lot of stuff to offer, for a price of course. Website is www.driftshowoff.com (http://www.driftshowoff.com)

Only $12 for tickets sounds like a good waste of a day.

I am there.

:D Fineally is right, I can't wait to go to a professional drifting event again!!! If its even halfway as good as the D1 GRAND PRIX was it'll still be the best show/race that Colorado has ever seen. Hopefully there is enough interest so that it dosen't get cancelled.

Ryanman.. Are you being a dick or is it cancelled? I wanna go! We should plan a cruise that day and head down south to PPIR.. That would be sweet....

Seriously. There is another thread about this either on here or on another local site and the guy who was running the show said that it was cancelled.

I think the one you're talking about was a locally organized event. It was cancelled due to lack of applicants, they couldn't get enough money together to pay for the insurance.

I think this one is still on.

What if Mike decides to try the FWD drift in his Eclipse?

FWD drifting is not hard. It's all about the e-brake and IF you know how to use it.

i would be highly impressed if i saw a FWD car consistantly drift on a course. I know it can be done but it would be an impressive site.

NO OFFENSE INTENDED WITH THE FOLLOWING STATEMENT:
you're joking right? just out of curiousity, what makes you think a FWD drive CHRYSLER is capable of drifting considering I even have the skills to do so?
