i'm looking for one, possible two, TD04HL-13G turbos. obviously i prefer ones in good condition that do not need to be rebuilt. i only need the compressor housing, wheels, and center section.

i'm looking to spend no more then $100 a piece for ones in good condition, price would be negotiable for ones that need to be rebuilt. i prefer local sales to avoid shipping costs.

thanks :)

ps: if anyone has one, i need a 14B as well, complete turbo (compressor housing, exhaust housing, wategate actuator, O2 housing, wheels, centersection, coolant lines). ryanman, i'm still going to buy yours, i just need another one... you know... twin turbo and all ;)

I've got a 14b, but the center housing needs rebuilt and I would recommend a new exhaust housing all together.

is the exhaust housing cracked? if so that's fine, i'm probably going to put on the 7cm 16G housings anyway for a bit more top end and then have them ceramic coated regardless.

does it blow oil or does it just have a lot of shaft play? both?

It seems like the compressor housing is fairly new, but the center housing is really stiff. Yes, the exhaust housing is cracked. It's never been run on a car since I've had it in my possesion (at least a year now) so I don't know how badly it really needs rebuilt.

if it's stiff like that, it desperatly needs a rebuild. i'll see if anyone else has one in better condition, if not i'll take that one off your hands. :)

Okay, it's just sitting in my garage anyway. If you don't want it, I'll just run it over with a tank or something. Maybe put it on some railroad tracks in the middle of the night or something.

if you run it over with a tank, be sure to get it on video ;)

The turbo you are looking for is a stock WRX turbo, might want to ask people over at www.clubwrx.net.

WRX's use a 13T, i need 13G's ;)

i would go with 13T's, but they will be considerably more expensive. this is just a temporary upgrade/replace my busted shit so i'm really not looking to spend a lot on it.

Nope, the 13G's came on automatic 1G DSM's, ONLY.

Mine is still just sitting around. I'll even let you make an offer on my DSM side mount IC too. :)

how'd you know i wanted a DSM sidemount...? seriously. those are an upgrade for my car (i know, that's fucking sad).

i'm just curious if i can find one i wouldn't have to take apart. because taking turbos apart pisses me off. but if i can't find anything i'll take yours :)

I've got two 14b's laying around that I'm trying to get rid of.

One of 'em has some shaft play, but would last another 30k miles at least. The other is still very tight and both spin freely. Both have the typical turbine housing cracks though (6 cm housings). Both turbo's have no damage to the comp wheels or housings.

One of them has a wastegate actuater and the other doesn't.

I was wanting to get $100 for the good one and $50 for the one in worse shape. If you're interested, PM or e-mail me.

hell, while i'm here, anyone have a stock DSM sidemount to go with stu's? (twin IC's as well)

stu

Mine requires a little repair work on the outlet pipe, but it's nothing that you can't handle, and it will be worth it for the price I'll give it to you for.

doctorstupid
04-22-2004, 12:34 AM
well both the outlet and inlet pipes have to be cut off and replaced with my stock piping, so that doesn't matter at all :)

i'm not sure how much to offer you for it.... $20?

stu
04-22-2004, 12:36 AM
I won't go any lower than $21 sorry.

doctorstupid
04-22-2004, 12:41 AM
well, that's pretty steep, i'd be willing to pay $20.50

stu

Well, I didn't like your comments about the tank, but I'll let it got this time. I could accept that.

doctorstupid
04-22-2004, 12:52 AM
ok, consider that IC sold.

i'll see about scraping up $20.50, as sad as that sounds, that's a lot of money right now... :(

I can wait, I'm in no hurry, really, I'm not.

I'll take it, Stu...

stu

Okay John, let me know when you want it.

doctorstupid

hey, you bastards... this thread is for me to buy things, not you, john! ;NutKick;

just kidding, but if nobody has a 13G for me then i'll just go cry myself to sleep
