This is an 88 GTX 1.6 awd turbo for sale. I have only owned it for about 3 wks now but it has costed me more than i first thought now i can't finish my other car which means morw to me so i must sale . a few of the things i have just replaced is , front struts, r front complete CV axle, front bearings, Crank, t belt, lifters,gaskets, Air box removal mod, plugs, wires, cap , rotor, fuel pump , fuel filter, i/c, guages include a/f , volt, oil pressure, boost, 5"auto meter tach with shft light, 75 wet shot from NOS system, mallory micro processor ignition HyFire, and much more.

i have owned and worked on alot of these and that rust on the back looks bad, is there some on top by the sunroof also? 2500.00? still sounds high for that kinda shape. do the windows all work?

LMAO please make sure before you just sum something ( that rust on back looks bad) there is no rust on the back of this car.And as for that kind of shape ? This car is in perfect running condition and yes all the windows work.And as for thr price GTX's are saleing for 3800-4700 in the shape this one is in unlike other cars not 100,000+ of these are running around theres another white and grey one localy same condition and he paid 4100 for his completely stock so go figure.And kind of hard to own and work on alot of these when only 1500 were ever imported into north america.

I see rust on the back hatch. You can see where it has run down the tail light in those pics and also see where the bottom part of the spoiler if lifted up a little due to the rust. Did you do a quick fix after you took those pics to try and hide it?

Look on the Mazda emblem and on the tail light. That is run off from the rust. I know these cars, ricewizard also knows these cars adn we both know where they have rust prone problems and the rear hatch is one of the places.

I beleive you but I don't beleive there is no rust in that spot due to the discoloration on the paint and the light.

i didnt mean to sound like i was assuming anything but under that spoiler sure looks like rust. if its not im sorry , also take your own advice dont assume. that guy with that white and grey gtx didnt paid that much. he didnt because i sold it to him. he only paid 1800.00 , and i gaurantee its clean, sure it may not have n.o.s. but it had new rad, clutch,t-belt w/water pump, battery, alum wheels, axles, axle seals and the diff was rebuilt.
sorry to assume but i have been down that road and i was just asking some questions. i would be interested in this car if its as clean as you say it is.
anyways can i come look at it this weekend?

Hey just so we all getsome thing clear i wasnt trying to sound like a dick or any thing.Not by far to old for those games so if i offened any of you im sorry. And i wasnt assuming on the price of the white and grey one i know of that is what he has told me and other he payed for it he works at the party time off of like havana and illiff so if that is and exagerated price then i have no idea just saying what i was told since he has only had it for a couple of months. As for if you would like to see it sure but i will be delivering it to new owner tomarrow afternoon but will probably take it up to sonics tonight for one last night out was a fun little car.
