i've never shopped for axles before...but i figure we are definately going to need some after we tune the car, so what are some good axles for a 93 civic coupe with a B18B and a GSR tranny that can handle around 400 hp (not that we will be making that much). so if anyone who has had some experience with aftermarket axles let me know what you think.

I've heard that www.raxles.com are good, but I cannot vouch for them myself.

somehow i don't see the axles as being an issue with less than 400hp...

I got axles from

But they are pretty heavy too

with slicks at the track....ive never broken any but i seen people break them with far less hp than that...why do you think they wont be a problem. Stock axles aren't made for that are they?

I'm looking for some 400 HP alxes too. I talked to the guy at Raxles and he was very helpful. It all depends on what you are going to do with the car. If you are doing autox it's one thing and if you are doing drag launches -w- a unsprung hub 3-puck clutch it's another. The Raxles guy said that for what I'm doing the stock axles will probably be ok, and if they snap he'll build me some that won't for a couple of hundred bucks. That's pretty cool when a guy who is in the business of selling axles tells me I probably don't need to buy any from him.
Tobi snaps axels with barely over 200whp.

Ive broken 3 stock ones, and one driveshaftshop.com axle with 217 hp.
New clutch and slicks now, the DSS axle should hold up.

damn, i want to talk to that guy too! i think ill be snapping them frankly. Drag racing with a six puck, slicks and over 300 hp...i dont think they will survive if tobi's didnt with a little over 200.
